Okay, kids. Time to drool a little bit as we're about to show you two amazing packages for Synapse Films' upcoming Blu-ray releases of the classic flicks Demons and Demons 2. The word "badass" is an understatement.

At the conclusion of Lamberto Bava's Demons a universe of possibilities had been opened, suggesting a myriad of directions for sequels. Despite their penchant for cashing in, the Italians seemed to favor ripping off Hollywood successes, rather than carving out their own franchises.

From the moment that the news of Demons and Demons 2 hitting Blu-ray in the UK broke, we Stateside fans have been green with jealousy. Sure, we could import it, but that can be pricey. So that's where we come in!

That’s right – with the stupendous new Arrow Video editions of Italian splatter classics Demons and Demons 2 that we reported on here geared up for release at the end of the month, we’ve got a sneak peek at the cover art and first few pages for the original comic book sequel, Demons 3, right here for your hellspawn-loving eyes to devour!

The next installment in Grimm Up North's Monthly Screenings program in Manchester, England, is a Masters of Horror Demons/Demons 2 double bill on Thursday, 29 March.

You officially have permission to perform a jig of happiness as the UK’s Arrow Video announce brand new DVD, Blu-ray and Steelbook editions of BOTH flicks in feature-packed editions as badass as Bobby Rhodes himself! Hell. Fucking. Yes.

Direct to video is great, and some would argue that some of the best stuff is coming out straight to the home market. But the classics -- the ones that had their first life IN the theater -- they deserve to be seen that way. At least once. And if you are a real horror fan, you owe it to yourself to see the classics in the theater whenever possible. The group experience can't be beat.

Stefan Hutchinson has worked on some of the most killer horror comics around, and with his latest venture he'll be extending the tale of those nasty demons that have torn Italy to shreds! Get ready for Demons 3!

If you live in the NYC area and are fiending to see some amazing Italian zombie films, you are in luck! From July 15th-29th, the Museum of Arts & Design is kick-starting its regular programming with an almost all Italian zombie film line-up that prominently features the films of Lucio Fulci and Lamberto Bava!
