Attention, Hatchet Army! The moment you have been waiting for is finally here! Turn down your lights. Turn up your volume. Then dig on a glimpse of the mayhem to come in Adam Green's long awaited sequel, Hatchet II. What? You want more? Okay. We even have a release date and info on which theatre chain is willing to show it unrated.
Usually when I start off a set visit report, the story begins for this writer as I walk onto the set. For Hatchet II, however, the story starts about three years earlier than that. See, in October 2007 I was just starting off my horror journalism career, and one of my very first in-person interviews while visiting LA was an up-and-coming horror director, Adam Green.
The wait for Adam Green's Hatchet II is an agonizingly long one. Especially after all of the gore-laden goodness Green unleashed at the Hatchet II Comic-Con panel, where he showed eight of the flick's seventeen(!) kills. To say we're excited is a bit of an understatement, but to help us get through, we've gotten our hands on a grave new still!
The Hatchet II panel at this year's San Diego Comic-Con, entitled Old School American Horror, has just expanded by two. Parry Shen and AJ Bowen will be joining the previously announced Adam Green, Danielle Harris, Tony Todd, Kane Hodder, Tom Holland, and R.A. Mihailoff.
One of the coolest things about making horror movies is that some of the more spooky locations for a film crew to shoot in end up being haunted. Such is the case with the setting Ti West has chosen for his latest film, The Innkeepers. Ready to take a look inside?
Yet another new image from Adam Green's long awaited sequel to his slasher based gore-fest, Hatchet II, has hit this crazy little thing that we call the interwebs. This one offers your first glance at director Tom Holland in character and having a bad day.
As mentioned in our earlier story today outlining the horror-centric events at the 2010 San Diego Comic-Con on Friday, July 23rd, Adam Green is bringing Hatchet II to the show, and in honor of the occasion Dark Sky Films has released a new still from the film!
With the announcement of the full slate of films that will be playing at the London Film4 FrightFest (August 26-30) comes the first ever stills from Adam Green's long awaited slasher sequel, Hatchet II.
