Most fans, including myself, were left feeling shortchanged and screaming for more when "Buffy the Vampire Slayer" went off the air after seven seasons. It was even worse when "Angel" got yanked, but that's a whole other can of worms. Season Eight in comic form never really did it for a huge percentage of the fanbase, but it looks like Whedon and company may have found a solution.

Buffy The Remake Slayer
A remake of the original movie Buffy the Vampire Slayer that has absolutely nothing whatsoever to do with the popular television series it spawned or any of aspect the "Buffyverse" that show developed and does not involve Joss Whedon in any capacity? Now Sarah Michelle Geller really does have a reason to look perpetually glower.

Buffy Headed for the Big Screen?
It’s a rumor of a rumor for now, but is it possible we could be seeing a new Buffy the Vampire Slayer movie in the near future? According to Moviehole, page 51 of the Aussie Hearld-Sun newspaper has an interesting bit about that very subject. It reads like this;

Animated Buffy Still Possible?
Back in 2002 when “Buffy the Vampire Slayer” was nearing the end of its run on TV, creator Joss Whedon and Jeff Loeb began work on an animated series that would expand the Buffyverse and take place sometime during the show's first or second season.
