Another horror-themed TV show is in development at a major network as NBC is working with Carlton Cuse ("Lost," "Bates Motel") and screenwriter Ryan Condal to adapt Oni Press’ graphic novel series The Sixth Gun.
It's not just the big screen where comic book adaptations are heading fast and furious these days. Showtime is getting in on the act with "The Damned", a new series project based on independent graphic novel and comic book publisher Oni Press’ comic book limited series.
It's been a while since we've gotten an update on director Chris Gorak's The Darkest Hour, but if you're attending this weekend's WonderCon 2011 in San Francisco, you'll want to check out the special collectible poster from the film's upcoming companion art book being unveiled by Summit Entertainment, New Regency, and Oni Press during the show.
Wow, it’s all about literary adaptations this morning, eh? Which I have to say is a welcome change from story after story about remakes... Variety reports that David DiGilio has been tapped by Dreamworks to pen the screenplay for The Damned, which started life as a graphic novel from Oni Press written by Cullen Bunn and Brian Hurtt.
