Comic-Con Sundays are typically light on horror, and this year is no exception although once again our favorite panel, "Supernatural", is heading to Hall H. Here are the genre highlights as well as info on the 36th annual Robert A. Heinlein Blood Drive.
To celebrate the home video release of Immortals on March 6th, Twentieth Century Fox Home Entertainment and America’s Blood Centers have organized blood drives at 30 select universities across the country which started this week and continue through March 9th.
What would horror be like without women? It would suck ass. Sure, a big guy is intimidating, but women as killers (or their creators) make everything so much more interesting. Which is why we're happy to remind you it's Women in Horror Month, time to give blood - and cash - to charity.
Welly well well, darlings. It seems there's a new racing game with a twist coming to the Xbox 360 and PS3 this fall titled Blood Drive, and it is being touted as "Shaun of The Dead meets Mad Max meets Death Race" (the ORIGINAL, I'm hoping).
In case you were unaware, February is "Women in Horror Month", and in honor of the occasion Twisted Twins Productions (aka Jen and Sylvia Soska) have provided us with a Public Service Announcement for their massive blood drive event in support of this first (hopefully) annual celebration.
It's a well known fact by now that every Halloween a new Saw movie will haunt theatres courtesy of Lionsgate, but what sometimes gets lost in the shuffle is the goodness of the annual Saw Blood Drives, which are a lot more than just sexy nurses dressed up in ghastly ways for charity. Now's your chance to go behind-the-scenes and meet the nurses themselves!
With Saw VI (which is gathering some surprisingly positive buzz) just around the corner. it was only a matter of time before the annual Blood Drive returned with a nurse who brings new meaning to the term "Give till it hurts!"
Ha-ha, vindication! I demanded more Blood Drive posters from Lionsgate this year, and they cowered at my might, churning out not just another poster, but a badass poster to boot! You mess with the Butane, you get the horns, friends!
Man, Lionsgate better not be cheapening out on us this year and only doing one design for their annual Saw Blood Drive. Yahoo! Movies got a look at the first poster for the drive, which I sincerely hope is not the last. One thing I look forward to every year is what kind of sexy nurses in sexy outfits they’re using to promote giving until it hurts.
