We told you about HBO's pilot commitment for a series adaptation of Westworld, a 1973 film written and directed by Michael Crichton, back in August of 2013, but now that "True Blood" is getting set to hit the bricks, things are really picking up steam.
Two things have always remained with me from Geoff Murphy's 1992 sci-fi action flick Freejack. The first is how Rene Russo’s character was supposed to age 18 years, but only her hairstyle changed. The second is “Hit Between the Eyes”, the title song provided by the Scorpions.

According to our friends over at Blu-ray.com, Fox Searchlight has announced the home video release date for Hitchcock, starring Sir Anthony Hopkins in the title role and Helen Mirren, who's been nominated for several awards already, as his wife. Look for it in stores on March 12th.

A new batch of photos has arrived that shows off Hitchcock's version of the cast members from Psycho--Jessica Biel as Vera Miles, Scarlett Johansson as Janet Leigh, and James D'Arcy as Anthony Perkins--as well as a few others.
Hitchcock will be released worldwide by Fox Searchlight Pictures in a few weeks, on November 23rd to be exact, and the third and final poster for the film landed in our inbox today - just in time for Halloween!
