Hot on the heels of our recent interview with Radical Entertainment's Design Director Matt Armstrong comes the news that Radical, the creator of Prototype 2, and Dark Horse Comics, the leading publisher of gaming comics and graphic novels, have joined forces to create an all-new comic series set in the Prototype universe.

Radical Entertainment's Design Director Matt Armstrong began his career in the video game industry over 13 years ago working on the seminal classic Final Fantasy VII as a QA Tester. A few short weeks of this was enough to convince Matt that his future lay more in the creative arts, and he soon found himself working as a 3D modeler, texture artist and animator before eventually finding himself drawn into the world of game design. Since then, Matt has worked in senior design positions at Blitz Games, Rockstar Games and Radical Entertainment, culminating in his current role as Design Director for Prototype 2.

The fight is on, and in this latest developer diary for the upcoming Activision video game Prototype 2, we get to learn all about the art of combat and just how deadly the upcoming battle is likely to be. Check it out!

As a writer for Dread Central, I'm no stranger to odd packages. The blood-stained funnel in an evidence bag ... the bronze Olympic medal warning that "Death doesn't like to be cheated" and even some years back a lone Joker card that almost caused my death at the hands of rabid geek friends. E3 is in full swing now, and along with the new trailers that debuted recently for both Activision Publishing's Prototype 2 and Deep Silver's Dead Island, gameplay videos have surfaced online for both games. And of course we have them for you right here!
