This Must-See ‘Stranger Things’ Documentary Climbs Netflix Most-Watched Charts
It’s been almost a decade, but this past December, the Duffer Brothers’ Stranger Things finally came to an end. While the series’ reception has ebbed and flowed over the years, as someone who was there when the series first premiered, I’d be lying if I said it wasn’t a bittersweet moment. The finale may not have worked for everyone, but there’s no doubt it’s likely going to be a long time before there’s another phenomenon quite like Stranger Things. To commemorate the end, Netflix has added the documentary One Last Adventure: The Making of Stranger Things 5, and it’s currently the second most-watched movie on the platform. In our review of Stranger Things’ finale, we wrote, “It’s messy, it’s awkward, it’s protracted, but by the final scene it all feels worth it, and that’s just about the best we could ask for.” It may not seem like high praise, but for a show of this stature, “best we could ask for” is more meaningful than it might seem.
