Today’s Most-Watched Drama on Netflix is an Underrated Stephen King Miniseries

Stephen King isn’t going anywhere. After a phenomenal 2025 that saw the release (and success) of titles like The Monkey and The Long Walk, audiences are diving into the acclaimed author’s backlog, especially since Netflix recently added one of his most underrated adaptations ever. 11.22.63, which first premiered in 2016, was recently added to Netflix, and the series is currently the third most-watched show on the entire platform. Learn more about 11.22.63 by checking out the trailer below:

11.22.63, adapted from Stephen King’s novel of the same name, stars James Franco as a school teacher who (bear with me) travels back in time to stop the assassination of JFK. Anyone who watched or read A Sound of Thunder knows messing with history is a bad idea, however, and sure enough, the attempts to alter the timeline prove more dangerous and disastrous than anyone (other than Bradbury stans) could have imagined. The series, which first premiered on Hulu, has received positive reviews, so if you missed it while hosted exclusively on Hulu, now’s your chance to check the series out for yourself on Netflix.
