‘Silent Hill: Townfall’ Trailer Reveals First-Person Gameplay [Video]

Silent Hill: Townfall finally drops a trailer, marking the first real update since its brief 2022 teaser four long years ago. The game is one of several Silent Hill projects Konami announced during the franchise revival, alongside Silent Hill 2 remake, Silent Hill f, Silent Hill: Ascension, and the recently panned film Return to Silent Hill.
The eerie trailer centers on a crackling radio. A man named Simon picks it up, revealing an IV line attached to his hand as a woman’s voice urges him to leave the room and come back to her. He later wakes in a foggy town called St. Amelia, pulling himself from the water and saying he has “woken up in the water again.”

The town appears abandoned, with warning signs posted on doors and evidence of unrest scattered through the streets. The same voice suggests Simon is responsible for something serious…
Gameplay is shown for the first time in a first-person perspective. Simon uses his radio to detect threats and fights enemies with a wooden plank and later a handgun.
Townfall is developed by Screen Burn and published by Konami and Annapurna Interactive. It is set to release in 2026 for PS5 and PC.
