‘Scream 7’: Go On Sidney’s Journey With New Featurette [Watch]
Paramount has released a new featurette for Scream 7 this morning, this time taking viewers on the journey of Sidney (Never Campbell). The film marks a return to focusing back on the character that has led the franchise since the beginning. In the new featurette, Campbell discusses her journey with the films, and the new direction that the upcoming sequel takes for Sidney. It also includes soundbites from creator/director Kevin Williamson on the matter.
According to the official plot synopsis: “When a new Ghostface killer emerges in the quiet town where Sidney Prescott has built a new life, her darkest fears are realized as her daughter (Isabel May) becomes the next target. Determined to protect her family, Sidney must face the horrors of her past to put an end to the bloodshed once and for all.”
The cast includes the return of Courteney Cox, Jasmin Savoy Brown, and Mason Gooding. New additions include Anna Camp, Joel McHale, Mckenna Grace, Michelle Randolph, Jimmy Tatro, Asa Germann, Celeste O’Connor, Sam Rechner, Ethan Embry, Tim Simons, and Mark Consuelos.
While their roles remain shrouded in secrecy, Scream 7’s cast additionally includes both Matthew Lillard and Scott Foley, two previous Ghostface killers.
Scream 7 slashes into theaters on February 27. Tickets go on sale on February 9th.
