‘Scream 7’ Featurette Celebrates Kevin Williamson’s ‘Scream’ Directing Debut

Paramount provided Dread Central with a new Scream 7 featurette celebrating original Scream writer Kevin Williamson’s first time directing a Scream movie.
“I always thought it would be a wonderful thing to have Kevin Williamson direct,” Neve Campbell exclaims. “He knows these characters and these films better than anybody.”
According to the official plot synopsis: “When a new Ghostface killer emerges in the quiet town where Sidney Prescott (Neve Campbell) has built a new life, her darkest fears are realized as her daughter (Isabel May) becomes the next target. Determined to protect her family, Sidney must face the horrors of her past to put an end to the bloodshed once and for all.”
The cast includes the return of Courteney Cox, Jasmin Savoy Brown, and Mason Gooding. New additions include Anna Camp, Joel McHale, Mckenna Grace, Michelle Randolph, Jimmy Tatro, Asa Germann, Celeste O’Connor, Sam Rechner, Ethan Embry, Tim Simons, and Mark Consuelos.
While their roles remain shrouded in secrecy, Scream 7’s cast additionally includes both Matthew Lillard and Scott Foley, two previous Ghostface killers.
Scream 7 heads to theaters on February 27.
