'Don't Say It's Name'

Horror fans, rejoice: Scream TV just made it a whole lot easier to mainline pure nightmare fuel. The Edmonton-based streaming brand has launched the beta version of its dedicated app, now available across iOS, Google Play, Roku, Samsung, and Amazon Fire TV. For North American viewers, Scream TV has also carved out space on Telus Channel 444, taking its genre-first lineup straight to living rooms nationwide.

For years, Scream TV has been carving out a reputation on FAST platforms with its 24/7 live channel and bottomless vault of terror. Now, with this app rollout, fans get more control — and more ways to keep the horror flowing. Subscribers can stream a curated mix of slashers, cult obscurities, surrealist nightmares, and original programming.

“Our goal has always been to make Scream TV the most trusted global destination for horror,” said Corinne Ferguson, Head of Scream TV. “This app represents a major step forward in accessibility, distribution, and community-building for genre audiences worldwide.”

Get these deets:

  • Mobile and TV ready: iOS, Google Play, Roku, Fire TV, Samsung.
  • Linear reach: now live on Canadian cable via Telus 444.
  • Curation is king: monthly blocks, original series, and deep cuts programmed by horror lifers.
  • Flexibility: 45-day AVOD replay window post-premiere.

September Scares

The September lineup is as eclectic as it is essential. It kicks off Sept 2 with Beware! The Blob, then plunges into macabre true-crime and Italian psychodrama with Burke & Hare and Ossessione (Sept 4). Other highlights include the cult gem Horror High (Sept 5), the party-crashing chaos of Monsters Crash the PJ Party (Sept 15), and surrealist nightmare fuel in Un Chien Andalou (Sept 29).

Later in the month, watch for Girl on the 3rd Floor (Sept 19), The Nightmare Never Ends (Sept 25), Aussie splatter-fest Undead (Sept 26), and Demons 2 (Sept 28). Things wrap Sept 30 with Canadian supernatural shocker Don’t Say Its Name, perfectly timed with the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation.

Scream TV also marks birthdays and anniversaries the right way: Sept 7 celebrates Dario Argento with The Bird with the Crystal Plumage and Phenomena, while Sept 17 is all about ElviraMovie Macabre and Haunted Hills included.

With over 5,000 titles and 10,000 hours of content, Scream TV’s new app is less a launch and more a warning: wherever you stream, your nightmares will find you.
