Survival Thriller ‘No Way Up’ Promises Sharks On A Plane [Watch]

2024 might be the year aquatic horror stans and fans of disaster movies about planes can find some common ground. RLJE Films has a title that already has us asking “Are these sharks on a plane?!” No Way Up is a survival thriller no one saw coming. It’s crashing into theaters and video on demand this February 16. You have to see the new trailer for this high-octane, high-concept movie for yourself.

In the film,

“When a plane crashes in the Pacific Ocean and comes to rest on the edge of an underwater ravine, the survivors face a race against time to escape the airlocked galley they are trapped in.”

No Way Up is directed by Claudio Fäh (Sniper: Ultimate KillWilder). The script was written by Andy Mayson, who also served as a producer on the project. The cast includes Sophie McIntosh (The Cul De SacBrave New World), Will Attenborough (DunkirkThe Outpost), Jeremias Amoore (Zero Chill, In the Case of Lily), Manuel Pacific (Terminator: Dark FateFind Me In Paris), Grace Nettle (War of the Worlds), Phyllis Logan (Secrets & LiesDownton Abbey), and Colm Meaney (Star Trek: Deep Space Nine, Layer Cake).

Andy Mayson has a ton of producer credits, but this is his first full-length screenplay. We love to see new writers in the genre. However, I’m still stuck on all of the UK actors casually appearing in this movie. We are about to have front-row seats to watch Downton Abbey and Zero Chill alumnus throw down with sharks. I have to see this on a big screen to see if it’s as glorious as I imagine.

Are you excited to check out No Way Up when it swims into theaters on February 16, 2024? Then get in line and let me know at @misssharai.
