“Dark, suspensful, and steamy”: Fans Are Praising Popular New Netflix Mystery Series
We love to see international titles find an audience on Netflix. Especially when they are binge-worthy crime thrillers from Poland. So, we currently have our eyes on Forst (also known as Detective Forst), which happens to be the #3 show on the streamer’s charts. Read on for more information about this compelling mystery, which has the internet in a chokehold.
In the series, “When a detective’s maverick approach to investigating gets him fired, he teams up with a journalist to solve a series of brutal murders outside the law.”

All 6 episodes of the limited series landed on Netflix on January 11th. While the Polish crime drama did not get any press, viewers are finding it anyway. Many fans have already finished the addictive thriller and are screaming over the finale.

Forst was directed by Daniel Jaroszek and Leszek Dawid. It was adapted for Netflix by Agata Malesińska, Jacek Markiewicz, and Marcin Cecko. It is based on Forst novels written by Remigiusz Mróz. The series stars Borys Szyc, Andrzej Bienias, Zuzanna Saporznikow, Kamilla Baar, and Aleksandra Grabowska.
A 6 episode thriller sounds like the best medicine this late into winter. It might just fill the TV gap about to open with the season finale of Fargo tonight and the next episode of Issa López’s season of True Detective so far away.
