‘Imaginary’ Trailer: Chauncey Wants To Play
From Blumhouse and Jeff Wadlow (Cry Wolf) comes Imaginary, a new original tale of terror involving imaginary friends and a deceivingly cute stuffed bear.
In Imaginary:
When Jessica moves back into her childhood home with her family, her youngest stepdaughter Alice develops an eerie attachment to a stuffed bear named Chauncey she finds in the basement. Alice starts playing games with Chauncey that begin playful and become increasingly sinister.
As Alice’s behavior becomes more and more concerning, Jessica intervenes only to realize Chauncey is much more than the stuffed toy bear she believed him to be.

If this is supposed to provide an explanation about what happens to imaginary friends when we stop believing in them, then I am about to start repenting to those ghosts of my past.
Wadlow also co-wrote Imaginary with Greg Erb & Jason Oremland. DeWanda Wise, Tom Payne, Taegen Burns, and Pyper Braun star in the film with Veronica Falcon and Betty Buckley.
Imaginary comes exclusively to theaters on March 8, 2024.
