‘Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire’ Just Released A Chilling New Trailer [Watch]
It is an exciting day for the many die-hard fans of the Ghostbusters franchise. The trailer for Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire dropped with the news that the movie is expected to be released on March 29, 2024. The peek at the new title also gives a glimpse of the squad returning to New York City to fight a new frosty enemy.

As if that is not enough to get the internet talking, the trailer also confirms a few other things for curious fans. Most notably, the movie will see the remaining original Ghostbusters continue working alongside the new generation of Ghostbusters. That’s right! Per the official synopsis: In Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire, the Spengler family returns to where it all started – the iconic New York City firehouse – to team up with the original Ghostbusters, who’ve developed a top-secret research lab to take busting ghosts to the next level. But when the discovery of an ancient artifact unleashes an evil force, Ghostbusters new and old must join forces to protect their home and save the world from a second Ice Age.

Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire saw Gil Kenan take the helm as director. The script was penned by Jason Reitman and Gil Kenan. It is based on the Ghostbusters characters created by Dan Aykroyd and the late Harold Ramis. The cast includes Paul Rudd, Carrie Coon, Finn Wolfhard, Mckenna Grace, Kumail Nanjiani, Celeste O’Connor, Logan Kim, Dan Aykroyd, Ernie Hudson, and Annie Potts.
