Stephen King Says This Thrilling New Prime Video Series Is “Worthy”
Stephen King isn’t just the master of suspense. He’s also the king of the suspenseful streaming recommendation. Now the horror hero is back on Twitter to share his love for a thrilling new series on Amazon’s Prime Video: The Consultant.
On the show, after an unspeakable tragedy at CompWare, a games studio based in downtown Los Angeles, a mysterious consultant, Regus Patoff, blows into town and takes charge.
The dark-comedy satire was developed for television by Tony Basgallop and was based on the novel of the same name by Bentley Little. The Consultant stars Christoph Waltz who is getting rave reviews. Nat Wolff, Brittany O’Grady, and Aimee Carrero also star.

While The Consultant could do a lot more in subsequent seasons to deliver answers to what is going on this season, the setup is intriguing enough to make me want to come back for more.
