Fans Are Saying “Believe the hype” About This Horror Series Dominating The Netflix Charts

Netflix fans are losing their minds about the second season of Alice in Borderland. The heavily hyped genre series recently landed new episodes, and you can check out what Twitter is saying about them below. The first and second seasons of the title currently hold the top two spots on the non-English Netflix Top 10 television charts.

On the mind-melting show, Arisu (Kento Yamazaki) and Usagi (Tao Tsuchiya) are chasing the mystery of “Borderland” in order to return to their real world. They meet their friends, enemies, and the mastermind behind the “game” at a place that seems to be the key to unlocking the mystery. When all the cards are collected, will they be able to return to their real world?

In the first season of Alice in Borderland, Arisu—a listless, jobless, and video-game-obsessed young man—suddenly finds himself in a strange, emptied-out version of Tokyo in which he and his friends must compete in dangerous games in order to survive. In this strange world, Arisu meets Usagi, a young woman who’s navigating the games alone. Together, they set out to unravel one mystery after another as they risk their lives and confront what it means to live.

Alice in Borderland is based on a survival and thriller manga (originally published in Weekly Shonen Sunday S / Weekly Shonen Sunday) by HARO ASO and directed by Shinsuke Sato. Kento Yamazaki (KingdomThe Disastrous Life of Saiki K) and Tao Tsuchiya (Library Wars: BOOK OF MEMORIESMare) co-star in the series.
