Rob Zombie’s ‘The Munsters’ Now Has An Official Netflix Drop Date!

After what feels like ages of hot anticipation, Rob Zombie’s Munsters prequel film has a cold hard release date. The upcoming imagining of Lily and Herman’s meet-cute will splash onto the world’s premiere streamer and VOD on September 27th, 2022, the same day as its physical media release! Not only will we have the accessibility of a Netflix premiere, but fans will also be able to get their hands on the Blu-ray, a privilege most Netflix releases do not receive.

The all-new Rob Zombie movie adaptation of The Munsters features a cast of familiar faces, including long-time Zombie collaborators Sheri Moon Zombie, Daniel Roebuck, Jeff Daniel Phillips, Dee Wallace and more. Original sitcom stars Beverly Owen and Butch Patrick are also set to make cameo appearances in the film.

The original cast of The Munsters featured Fred Gwynne, Yvonne de Carlo, Beverly Owen, Butch Patrick, and Al Lewis as Grandpa Munster. Together, the group played the average nuclear American family. But twist—they were a clan of monsters!

Updates for the new film have been coming in hot ever since production began in Budapest in 2021. You can check out all of the behind-the-scenes mayhem by clicking right here.
