‘The Summoned’ Trailer: Hellish Horrors Await In a Grand Rural Estate
Mark Meir’s acclaimed Faustian morality tale, The Summoned, lands on North American VOD on July 7th. This follows a celebrated World Premiere at the 2022 Overlook Film Festival.
In The Summoned, young Elijah (Hamilton‘s J. Quinton Johnson) attends a self-help retreat with his rockstar girlfriend Lyn, unaware that the enigmatic doctor who runs the estate has summoned him here to settle a generations-old supernatural debt.

Johnson’s performance is a high point of the film, anchoring it emotionally. Every actor in The Summoned truly falls into the hellish madness beautifully. Meir truly delivers one wild ride of a film.
Jewish-Ukrainian writer Yuri Baranovsky wrote the script for The Summoned. The film’s powerful cast features Johnson, Emma Fitzpatrick, Salvador Chacon, Angela Gulner, and Freddy Douglas. A Wicked Myth and Happy Little Guillotine Studios co-production, the picture is Produced by Baranovsky, Meir, Gulner, Justin Mark Morrison, and Dashiell Reinhardt.
