‘Resident Evil’: Live Action Netflix Series Gets Killer Posters, Cast Details And Release Date

Today we have exciting details in regards to Netflix’s live action Resident Evil series. The release date, cast, and new plot details have now surfaced. The streaming giant has also released two sleek teaser posters for the new project! These sheets seem to promise a different aesthetic from what we’ve seen in the past.
Seems like fans of the franchise have a lot to look forward to this summer. According to Netflix, here’s what you can expect from their 8-part Resident Evil series:
“2036 – 14 years after a deadly virus caused a global apocalypse, Jade Wesker fights for survival in a world overrun by the blood-thirsty infected and insane creatures. In this absolute carnage, Jade is haunted by her past in New Raccoon City, by her father’s chilling connections to the Umbrella Corporation but mostly by what happened to her sister, Billie.”
Subsequently, the reimagining will star Lance Reddick as Albert Wesker, Tamara Smart, Ella Balinska, Siena Agudong, Adeline Rudolph, and Paola Nuñez. Interestingly enough, the series hails from Constantin Film, the label behind the original run of Resident Evil movies.
Most importantly, Resident Evil premieres on Netflix July 14th.
