WHAT WE DO IN THE SHADOWS Goes Full VR in the First Trailer for Season 3!

It’s impossible not to love FX’s outrageously funny vampire series What We Do in the Shadows. Thankfully, the third season for the show is finally returning on September 2nd. Not just with one, but two whole new episodes! This is great news because I’m absolutely starved for more.

Luckily my hunger has been temporarily quenched. This morning FX dropped a hilarious first look teaser for the hotly anticipated third season.

Perfectly pairing slapstick humour with just enough heart, the teaser finds Nador enjoying an idyllic sunny summer afternoon in the park. Virtually, that is…

What We Do in the Shadows is based on the 2014 vampire-comedy film made by Jemaine Clement and Taika Waititi. The series takes on the mockumentary style of the film and follows the lives of four vampire roommates trying to make the afterlife work on Staten Island. The show features one of the funniest ensembles on television, including Natasia Demetriou, Harvey Guillén, Mark Proksch and Matt Berry.

While talking with Bleeding Cool, star Harvey Guillén shared the following season 3 update:

“We left off on a real big cliffhanger with finding out the truth and the housemates finding out about Guillermo’s lineage with Van Helsing and that he’s a natural-born killer. We definitely pick up there. There’s no time lapse that goes by. I think it’s like we pick up where we left off and we’ll be dealing with a lot of new things as well. We’ll be introducing old faces that you saw. I will be seeing old girlfriends of the characters. There’s definitely a lot of adventure ahead.”
