A24 recently announced the acquisition of Lamb, a chilling Icelandic horror movie from filmmaker Valdimar Jóhannsson.

Synopsis:
A childless couple in rural Iceland make an alarming discovery one day in their sheep barn. They soon face the consequences of defying the will of nature, in this dark and atmospheric folktale, the striking debut feature from director Valdimar Jóhannsson.
Lamb stars Noomi Rapace (The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo, Prometheus) alongside Icelandic actors Hilmir Snaer Gu∂nason and Björn Hlynur Haraldsson.
A24 is the studio that brought us The Witch, Hereditary, Midsommar, The Lighthouse, and False Positive (among many others). The studio is also producing the upcoming releases Disappointment Blvd. and The Green Knight.
