A24 is the studio behind The Witch, Hereditary, and Midsommar (and more). They are dropping an intense horror fantasy flick The Green Knight this July. And today we have the trailer.

Dev Patel stars with Alicia Vikander (Tomb Raider) and Joel Edgerton (Bright). Sarita Choudhury (Evil Eye) joins with Sean Harris (Prometheus), Kate Dickie (The Witch), Barry Keoghan (The Killing of a Sacred Deer), and Ralph Ineson (The Witch).
David Lowery’s film is a fresh/bold spin on a classic tale of the knights of the round table. And an epic fantasy adventure based on the timeless Arthurian legend.
It tells the story of Sir Gawain, King Arthur’s reckless and headstrong nephew. He embarks on a daring quest to confront the eponymous Green Knight, a gigantic emerald-skinned stranger, and tester of men. Gawain contends with ghosts, giants, thieves, and schemers in what becomes a deeper journey. He must prove his worth in the eyes of his family and kingdom by facing the ultimate challenger.
The Green Knight has been rated R for violence, some sexuality, and graphic nudity.
