Zombieland has faced development hell a few times over the last decade. The long-delayed sequel, Zombieland Double Tap, took ten years to fully bake. However, long before this sequel ever hit theatres, Zombieland: The Series almost happened.
Created by one of the writers of the films, Rhett Reese, this series faced its demise before getting properly greenlit. While the film’s original characters did appear in the completed pilot episode, none of the original cast reprised their roles.
Jinx is the writer behind the Bloody Disgusting column Phantom Limbs, where he also unearths the truth behind unmade horror movies. Will we fall into a terrible rivalry destined to destroy us both?
