While we didn’t get as many new kaiju as we might have liked in Godzilla vs Kong, the Hollow Earth sequence, at least, we teeming with all kinds of creepy creatures. One of the most captivating was dubbed the “Hollow Earth Lizard”, a sizable critter who feasts on the crustaceous crawlers who scurry across the landscape. Now, a new fan theory explored by our friends at DangerVille suggests the “Hollow Earth Lizard” may in fact be Godzilla’s son! Sound far-fetched?

Godzilla vs Kong introduced new monsters to the series, and the one that may have stood out the most is the hollow earth lizard due to its similarities to Godzilla’s appearance. Could this be Godzilla’s family member? Or perhaps a distant cousin species of sorts from a time when the Gojira were growing into the apex predators that we know of them as. All this and more!

Synopsis:
