Neill Blomkamp Secretly Filmed a New Supernatural Horror Movie Called DEMONIC

Last summer, District 9 filmmaker Neill Blomkamp secretly shot a supernatural horror movie in British Columbia. AGC Studios will screen Demonic for potential distributors as part of the upcoming European Film Market. Screen Daily got the scoop reporting:

AGC head Stuart Ford was keeping mum about plot details although he did say, “Typically for Neill’s films it has a highly original visual component as well as some great scares.”

Deadline previously reported the project is something Blomkamp has “always wanted to make.” Blomkamp also had planned to shoot an action-thriller called The Inferno with Taylor Kitsch (Waco) over the summer, but that COVID pandemic put those plans on ice.

We’ll keep you posted on Demonic as additional details emerge, so stay tuned and check back often!
