Netflix’s THE HAUNTING: There Are No Plans for a New Season
Netflix & Mike Flanagan’s The Haunting of Hill House follow-up The Haunting of Bly Manor with Victoria Pedretti and Henry Thomas hit earlier this year. And recently, Flanagan touched on the potential third season in The Haunting series.
He tweets: “At the moment there are no plans for more chapters. Never say never, of course, but right now we are focused on a full slate of other intrepid projects for 2021 and beyond. If things change we will absolutely let everyone know!“

The new season sports a (current) 93% over on Rotten Tomatoes. The Critics Consensus reads: It may not be as scary as its predecessor. But with plenty of spooky tricks inside its haunted halls and a strong sense of heart, The Haunting of Bly Manor is another solid entry into Mike Flanagan’s growing horrorography.
From the creators of The Haunting of Hill House, the new chapter, The Haunting of Bly Manor is set in 1980s England. After an au pair’s tragic death, Henry Wingrave (Henry Thomas) hires a young American nanny (Victoria Pedretti) to care for his orphaned niece and nephew (Amelie Bea Smith, Benjamin Evan Ainsworth). They reside at Bly Manor with the chef (Rahul Kohli), groundskeeper (Amelia Eve), and housekeeper, Mrs. Grose (T’Nia Miller). But all is not as it seems at the manor. And centuries of dark secrets of love and loss are waiting to be unearthed in this chilling gothic romance. At Bly Manor, dead doesn’t mean gone.
The Haunting of Hill House and Bly Manor are now streaming on Netflix.
