On July 7th at 3:30 pm, audiences will have an opportunity to check out Danielle Harris’ feature directorial debut AMONG FRIENDS at a special “Sneak Peek” screening presented by the Viscera Film Festival at the Egyptian Theatre in Hollywood. Following the screening, a carpet ceremony will commence, co-presented by the American Cinematheque and Viscera Film Festival, to be followed by a program of 73 of the best modern horror shorts by women.

AMONG FRIENDS is a twisted horror about a dinner party gone wrong. Set against an 80s backdrop, good times take a dark turn when one in the group hijacks the evening in the name of Integrity. Through an attempt to help the others come clean about secret betrayals against one another, it’s revealed who’s willing to cut through the bone to expose the truth. Written by Alyssa Lobit and Produced by Jennifer Blanc-Biehn and Athena Lobit, the film and stars Christopher Backus, Jennifer Blanc, AJ Bowen, Dana Daurey, Brianne Davis, Kane Hodder, Kamala Jones, Alyssa Lobit and Chris Meyer.
