TENET Trailer Teases Another Nolan Masterpiece

Writer-director Christopher Nolan’s super-secret new film Tenet starring John David Washington, Robert Pattinson, Elizabeth Debicki, Aaron Taylor-Johnson, and Kenneth Branagh has a ten-minute prologue playing before IMAX versions of some movie called The Rise of Skywalker.

And today we have the film’s time-twisting trailer to share with you guys! And I don’t know about you but the movie – like Nolan’s masterpiece Inception – looks like a killer mix of a James Bond film and a worthy new entry in The Matrix series. Basically, it looks super badass.

While the film has been described as “an action epic evolving from the world of international espionage” Nolan recently told EW a bit more about the film, revealing:
“We’re jumping off from the point of view of an espionage film, but we’re going to a number of different places. We’re crossing a few different genres in a hopefully exciting and fresh way. Emma [Thomas] and I have put together a lot of large-scale productions, but this is certainly the biggest in terms of international reach. We shot in seven countries, all over the place, with a massive cast and huge set pieces. There’s no question, it’s the most ambitious film we’ve made.”
Written, directed, and produced by Christopher Nolan (Inception, The Dark Knight, The Dark Knight Rises, Memento, Dunkirk) it is set to be released by Warner Bros. on July 17, 2020.
