The second season of Netflix’s Castlevania will be hitting the streaming giant’s platform on October 26th, according to Adi Shankar, the show’s producer and showrunner. Doubling the amount of episodes of the first season from 4 to 8, the second season will continue the story of Trevor Belmont and his allies Alucard and Sypha.
An adaptation of Konami’s Castlevania III: Dracula’s Curse, the animated series was released last summer and drew rave reviews for its beautiful aesthetics, its interesting storyline, and the intense and exhilarating violence. The second season will pick up where the first season ended, which saw the three heroes ready to take on Dracula himself. Obviously that will take a little while since there are eight episodes coming AND a third season has already been confirmed (I’m 100% into it).
The voice cast includes Richard Armitage, Graham McTavish, James Callis, Alejandra Reynoso, Emily Swallow, Tony Amendola, and Matt Frewer.
