Vestron Video Returns to Release Chopping Mall on Blu-ray!

Fans have for years been begging for a Blu-ray release of director Jim Wynorski’s Chopping Mall, and not only is it finally happening, but it’s bringing long-defunct label Vestron Video back to life with it. Lionsgate is soon launching the Vestron Video Collector’s Series, and Wynorski’s 1986 cult classic is the label’s first order of business.
The exciting news comes courtesy of Bloody Disgusting, where it was exclusively reported that Chopping Mall will be transferred from the original film elements to high-definition Blu-ray. The release will be packed with special features including brand-new audio commentaries, behind-the-scenes featurettes, and interviews with cast & crew.
Look for the limited edition Blu-ray on September 27th!
In Chopping Mall, teenagers trapped in a high-tech mall overnight must find a way out before three malfunctioning security robots destroy them.
