Talitha Bateman Orphaned by Annabelle

More casting news is here for Annabelle 2 as Deadline is reporting that The 5th Wave‘s Talitha Bateman has signed on to a leading role as one of the orphans in New Line’s Annabelle 2.
She joins the previously announced Miranda Otto and Stephanie Sigman in the film. David Sandberg is directing the spinoff to New Line’s Conjuring franchise that has stewards James Wan and Peter Safran producing.
The script by Gary Dauberman tells of a dollmaker and his wife (Otto) who, 20 years after the tragic death of their little girl, welcome a nun (Sigman) and several girls from a shuttered orphanage into their home. Soon, however, the nun and the girls become the target of the dollmaker’s possessed creation, Annabelle.
Annabelle 2 begins filming soon for a May 19, 2017 release.
