‘Mortal Kombat II’ Video Pits Liu Kang Against Kung Lao!
Mortal Kombat II kicks into theaters soon, and we have a third clip from the film that should get fans ready to have their souls stolen.
In the footage, Liu Kang (Ludi Lin) is in battle against an undead Kung Lao (Max Huang), with a blood-red portal as the backdrop. Having seen it, I know you all are going to love that battle.
In the two previously released clips, Johnny Cage takes on Kitana, and Scorpion shows off his “get over here!” moment.
Mortal Kombat II follows “the fan favorite champions — now joined by Johnny Cage (Karl Urban) — as they are pitted against one another in the ultimate battle to defeat the dark rule of Shao Kahn (Martyn Ford) that threatens the very existence of the Earthrealm and its defenders.”
Simon McQuoid returns to direct from a script written by Jeremy Slater (Godzilla x Kong: The New Empire).
The film also stars Jessica McNamee, Joe Taslim, Hiroyuki Sanada, Adeline Rudolph, Tati Gabrielle, Josh Lawson, Tadanobu Asano, and CJ Bloomfield.
Mortal Kombat II brings the fatalities to theaters on May 8th.
