New ‘Mortal Kombat II’ Footage Unleashes Scorpion’s “Get Over Here” Moment!
Scorpion’s signature “Get over here!” moment is front and center in this new clip from Mortal Kombat II, bringing one of the video game’s most iconic moves to life with the impact fans expect. The brief clip has some excellent action and suggests the sequel is doubling down on fan service without losing intensity.
Mortal Kombat II follows “the fan favorite champions — now joined by Johnny Cage (Karl Urban) himself — as they are pitted against one another in the ultimate battle to defeat the dark rule of Shao Kahn (Martyn Ford) that threatens the very existence of the Earthrealm and its defenders.”
Simon McQuoid returns to direct from a script written by Jeremy Slater (Godzilla x Kong: The New Empire).
The film also stars Ludi Lin, Jessica McNamee, Joe Taslim, Hiroyuki Sanada, Adeline Rudolph, Tati Gabrielle, Josh Lawson, Tadanobu Asano, and CJ Bloomfield.
Tickers are on sale now for the tournament that begins in theaters on May 8.
