Though I still will hold on tightly to my lack of caring about anything X-Files, especially when the sequel got one of the most idiotic subtitles I’ve ever heard (I Want to Believe, in case you missed it), I know you guys will probably eat this up.
IGN Filmforce got the first look at the trailer for X-Files: I Want to Believe, which promises to be a stand-alone story and have nothing to do with alien abductions, black goo, or anything else that made the last few seasons of the show nigh unwatchable. Go on and check it out below; X-Files: I Want to Believe is in theaters this July 25th!
Discuss whether or not you even still care about "X-Files" in the Dread Central forums!

I guess i'm part of the minority that actually wants to see this.
It looks like a made for TV movie, especially with the title.
Though I'm not a huge fan of the "I Want to Believe" subtitle, I certainly wouldn't call it idiotic -- anyone who watched the show knows that line comes directly from the poster Mulder always had above his desk, and that it was a mantra that pretty much defined his character.
But other than that, I agree with frank_dracman -- hopefully, six years has been long enough for the show to lie dormant.
Epic Running! Epic Digging!
Too early to tell if it's any good. If the story line is anything like the first couple seasons, I'm there. If it's anything like the last seasons or movie, I'll stay home any play X-Files on my PS2. As goofy as the game was, It's still better than the retaredness of the show in it's golden years.
