The film that really should have been a part of last year's After Dark's 8 Films to Die For, Frontier(s), is still going to get its chance to shine here in the States with an uncut theatrical run on May 9th and landing on DVD May 13th.
Of course, you know all that ... so why are we bringing up Xavier Gens' NC-17 beauty? Because we got in a bunch of stuff for Frontier(s) that you need to see! The trailer is ready for you to check out below and enjoy the new one-sheet and DVD insert below!
Frontier(s) is the tale of a group of thieves who escape Paris only to find themselves at the mercy of a group of torturous neo-Nazis at an inn.
Check out the trailer below, then get some more ghastliness by paying a visit to Frontier(s)' official website.

I am extremely excited for this. With France's track record (Haute Tension, Inside, Irreversible, Them, Trouble Every Day...I love all these movies!!) and from some clips I've seen, this is going to earn the marketing slang that's slapped on the posters. Looks like a gorgeous film too.

Don't mean it won't be as bad.

Yeah, but Captivity was a total Hollywood cash-in n the torture porn genre. The trailer for Frontier(s) alone manages to out shine Cativity as a whole.

That sounds eerily similar to "Captivity" boasting in the trailer about how they were punished for being too scary.

Oh come on...you mean the tagline:
THE FILM WE WEREN'T ALLOWED TO SHOW IN HORRORFEST
doesn't do something for ya?

To be hontest, in one of the videos we're going to put up there is a tagline that says something about it being the French answer for Hostel.

I'm getting the distinct whiff of a torture horror flick here. While the whole neo-nazi device is interesting, I'm sensing a lot of "Hostel" mixed with "Wolf Creek."
