Official Casting News for Resident Evil: Retribution

Well that didn’t take very long. Just yesterday we told you that the next installment of the Resident Evil film franchise, Resident Evil: Retribution, would be going before cameras this October, and now some rather unsurprising news has broken today!

According to Bloody Disgusting Milla Jovovich will be returning to the franchise once again to play Alice, joining the previously announced Sienna Guillory as Jill Valentine. Oh, yeah, and Paul W.S. Anderson is returning to direct the film from his own screenplay.

Expect lots of bullets and Matrix-style slow motion. Look for Resident Evil: Retribution in theatres on September 14, 2012 from Screen Gems.
