First Word: Home Video Release Dates for Scream 4 and Troll Hunter!

Some quick home video news coming in for you cats who love big monsters and big franchises. That’s right, kids! Both Troll Hunter and Wes Craven’s Scream 4 will be heading home this fall, and we’ve got the early word on when you can expect them.

According to Blu-ray.com, one of our favorite films of the year, Troll Hunter, will be stomping its way home to DVD and Blu-ray courtesy of Magnolia Home Entertainment on August 23rd, 2011. Specs and artwork are forthcoming. When we get them, we’ll share them with you quicker than you can blind a three-headed beast in the woods with a spotlight!

And finally, though not exactly what you would call a box office blockbuster, Amazon lists the release date of Scream 4 to be October 4th. Expect it on VOD, DVD and Blu-ray. No official word yet from the studio or artwork has been given.
