Our bros in blood over at Bloody Disgusting are reporting that shooting of the second season of FX’s highly acclaimed and chilling show “American Horror Story” officially commences on July 17th in Los Angeles. Bring on the spooks!

In addition, Spoiler TV has provided a rundown of some guest and recurring roles for the first two episodes of Season 2, which include several lesbian characters, two hospital orderlies, and a prostitute. Jessica Lange’s boss will be a Mother Superior named Claudia, and there is also an Irish priest named Father Malechi. The hospital’s head of security is from Boston, and finally some trick-or-treaters are being cast.

“American Horror Story” returns this fall. Season 2 stars include Jessica Lange, Adam Levine, James Cromwell, Chris Zylka, Joseph Fiennes, Zachary Quinto, Chloe Sevigny, Evan Peters, Sarah Paulson, Lily Rabe, and Lizzie Brochere.
