Paramount and Shawn Levy Have Monster Problems

Rarely do films that will be in "the vein of" this or that catch our eye because we prefer original content over something that can be compared to something else. Unfortunately those types of flicks come once in a lifetime so we take what we can get.

THR reports that Paramount is in negotiations to pick up Monster Problems, a spec script by Brian Duffield for Shawn Levy (Night at the Museum, Date Night) and his 21 Laps banner to produce. Details are being kept under lock and key, but the project has been described as a post-apocalyptic road movie in the vein of Mad Max and Zombieland with a John Hughes-esque love story at its center.

It's a bit blurry, but the second promo photo for the Season 7 premiere of "Dexter", which is entitled "Are You...?", has landed online. It's from TV Guide, and like the previous still released, it features Dexter and Debra, who is no doubt still reeling from her discovery at the end of Season 6.
