International Trailer Premiere Takes You Inside of Apartment 143

With a stills gallery and poster art already online, we knew it would only be a matter of time before we get a trailer for the new faux documentary Apartment 143. That time is now. If only we could predict our lottery numbers with such accuracy!

Magnolia has acquired U.S. rights to Emergo (which will be known as Apartment 143 here in the States), the latest genre film from Rodrigo Cortes and Adrian Guerra.

Using the same release strategy as on Melancholia, Magnolia will bow Apartment 143 via its Magnet label with an early VOD release timed for April 27th with a theatrical run beginning six weeks later on June 1st.

Written by Cortes, directed by Spanish tyro Carles Torrens, and starring Kai Lennox and Michael O'Keefe, the English-language Apartment 143 turns on a team of high-tech parapsychologists who investigate anomalous phenomena in an old, eerie house.
