Two More to Soak in the Rays of the Midnight Sun

More casting news is coming in for NBC's latest foray into genre territory, "Midnight Sun". Read on to find out who the next members of that kooky cult will be. Or not. You never know with TV nowadays. All those twists and turns!

According to Variety, Lucien Laviscount and Oz Zehavi have joined the cast of the NBC pilot "Midnight Sun." Laviscount plays a member of the cult planning his escape.

Brad Anderson (Session 9, Vanishing on 7th Street, Transsiberian, The Machinist) is to direct NBC's "Midnight Sun" pilot.

David Harbour (The Green Hornet) was recently added to the ensemble cast that also includes Julia Stiles (The Omen, "Dexter"), Emma Bell (Final Destination 5, Frozen, "The Walking Dead"), and Titus Welliver ("Lost", "Sons of Anarchy") as Bennett Maxwell, the charismatic and manipulative leader of Midnight Sun.

The thriller follows the mysterious disappearance of Midnight Sun, a group living on a cult-like commune in Alaska, and a female FBI cult specialist leading the investigation that uncovers a larger conspiracy.

Shooting begins this May in Vancouver.
