Cannibalism has made quite the comeback on the horror scene, and every time we turn around, we end up privy to another blood feast. Yet, the upcoming indie flick Eat, which is on its way to Cannes, has put a deliciously evil twist on it! Read on for the trailer and more.

Jimmy Weber directs the film, which stars Meggie Maddock and Dakota Pike. BoulderLight Pictures (Contracted) is handling worldwide sales.

Synopsis
Novella McClure is an aspiring but aging actress staring desperation in the face. Her anxiety turns into an extreme eating disorder, causing her to bite, chew, and swallow her own flesh. As her personal life begins to deteriorate around her and new struggles arise, she must overcome this fatal dysfunction – before it’s too late.
