It's Ladies' Night on Inside Horror: Episode 7
On this week's "Inside Horror" your host with the most, Elric, not only had his usual ladies (Staci and Jenna) flanking him, but he was also joined on the loveseat by the adorable Ashlynn Yennie (The Human Centipede) and the super pretty (and talented!) SuperHeidi Honeycutt and Shannon Lark. Honest Abe got in a few licks as well.
Heidi and Shannon were on hand to talk about The Viscera Film Festival (which consists of all female filmmakers) as well as their big charity event, Bone Marrow, which will be taking place in the NoHo Arts District of Los Angeles, California, on the night of Saturday, February 25th (click here for more info).
First up, though, was Jenna Busch with "Dreadlines", hot off the Dread Central wire, along with some newly released teaser posters. Then Staci went behind-the-scenes of the upcoming Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter film from Fox, directed by Timur Bekmambetov and starring Benjamin Walker.
Following Heidi and Shannon, who also had some really pithy, witty observations on women’s roles in the horror genre — both in front of and behind the camera, Ashlynn told some tall tales about not only working with controversial director Tom Six but also how the two “mad scientists” in each film differed so radically from one another. She also revealed a bit about the upcoming film she did with Adam Gierasch (director of the Night of the Demons remake), Schism.
Be sure to tune in to "Inside Horror" next week (Tuesday, February 28th, at 7 p.m. PST, 10 p.m. EST) for the season finale, which will be a big blow-out gala celebrating women in horror with special guests Sybil Danning (The Howling 2), Danielle Harris (Halloween), Laura Lau (Silent House), and many more.
