Eric Kripke and J.J. Abrams Bringing the Revolution to NBC

If there are two people in this world that have a stellar chance at creating absolute magic together, it would be the pairing of "Supernatural" creator Eric Kripke and the master of all things mysterious, J.J. Abrams. Luckily for us? That's exactly what we're getting!

According to TVLine NBC has given the green light to the hour-long thriller "Revolution" penned by Kripke and executive produced by Abrams and Bryan Burk.

The project is described as a high-octane action drama that follows a group of characters struggling to survive and reunite with loved ones in a world where all forms of energy have mysteriously ceased to exist.

It's unclear at the moment just how horror-centric this project will turn out to be, but we'll be keeping a close eye on things!
