WonderCon 2012 Heading South to Anaheim, California
Some of you may not know that the San Diego Comic-Con has a little sister known as WonderCon, which is typically held in San Francisco, but this year things are going to be a bit different. Due to renovation work taking place at Moscone Center South, the Con's usual home, the powers-that-be have opted to relocate it to the Anaheim Convention Center for its 2012 run of March 16th-18th rather than cancel or postpone it.
Right now the guest list is mostly geared toward comics fans (Yay! A real "comic" con!), but if last year is any indication, things should start cooking soon with more movie and TV show panels and guests sure to be added. The horror highlights thus far:
Joe Hill - author, Locke and Key, Heart-Shaped Box
Mike Mignola - writer/artist/creator, Hellboy, B.P.R.D.
Steve Niles - writer/creator, 30 Days of Night, Criminal Macabre, Mystery Society
Eric Powell - writer/artist/creator, The Goon
Marv Wolfman - writer/editor, Blade, the Vampire Hunter, Tomb of Dracula
Bob Schreck - editor-in-chief, Legendary Comics
