Odd City Reveals its Trick 'r Treat Limited Edition Print to Commemorate Upcomng Screening/Live StreamFans of Michael Dougherty’s cult classic Trick ‘r Treat have another way to celebrate this film’s theatrical screening / panel / live stream this coming Monday, October 28th, as Odd City Entertainment is releasing a limited edition print to commemorate the event!

All fans who attend the screening at the Egyptian Theatre during the Los Angeles Beyond Fest will receive one of the limited edition prints by James Fosdike. Additionally, 100 numbered prints and 85 glow-in-the-dark variant edition prints will go on sale at the Odd City Entertainment store the following day. The poster was printed with eight inks on French Whip Cream paper and printed by Half and Half.

“I was very honored to be asked to illustrate a poster for Trick ‘r Treat,” Fosdike said. “It’s a wonderfully clever and surprising Halloween film with such an iconic creepy little guy at its center. I loved the interweaving storylines; it reminded me a lot of Creepshow, which I loved as a kid. I wanted to put as much of the story as I could on the page, giving the image a comic book touch with the background paneling and adding a special frightening touch to Sam. Turn the lights off and you’ll see…”

The Odd City poster is just one of many ways that fans can experience this special event, even if they are not able to attend the screening in person. Both the showing of the film and the panel, which will be attended by Dougherty, who directed and wrote the movie, along with cast members Dylan Baker, Brian Cox, Quinn Lord, Jean-Luc Bilodeau, and other special guests, will be live streamed nationally on the official Legendary Facebook page. The live stream will begin at 7:30 pm PT. Fans can tune in to watch Trick ‘r Treat and the panel, join in on the conversation, and enter to win Blu-ray copies of the film.

Tickets for the Trick ‘r Treat screening and panel are available at the official Legendary and Trick ‘r Treat Facebook pages.

James Fosdike is an illustrator based in Adelaide, Australia. Odd City previously worked with him on his renowned Pacific Rim print. For more information visit Visualante.com.au.

THE STORY OF TRICK ‘R TREAT
Although never released in theaters, Trick ‘r Treat, the directorial debut of Michael Dougherty that stars Dylan Baker, Anna Paquin, Leslie Bibb, and Brian Cox, became a cult classic through its release on DVD, digital platforms, and extensive play in festivals. Additionally, the film received rave reviews for its originality and ambition. The passage of time has not diminished the fan fervor for this horror classic, which continues to achieve a life of its own with each new technology but has never been seen in theaters – until now.

Dougherty’s story takes place in a small Ohio town on All Hallows’ Eve, where four interwoven tales – including a high school principal who moonlights as a vicious serial killer, a college-age virgin who’s saving herself for that special someone, a woman whose hatred of Halloween is only exceeded by her husband’s love of the mischievous holiday, and a callous group of teens who carry out an unforgivably cruel prank – deliver the kind of chills that can only occur on the darkest day of the year.

If you’re in the LA area, this is one event not to be missed! For more info on the Beyond Fest itself, which is under way now and runs through October 31st, visit the official Beyond Fest website.
