One of The Walking Dead Could Be ... Walking?
Maybe those fan-made images of "The Walking Dead" cast we posted earlier today were a bit prophetic as it turns out one member of the cast was ready to leave after the Darabont controversy. So where does that leave this person now?
According to TVLine the backstage drama all started when series creator Frank Darabont was ousted. A whole lotta people were upset, especially one person, so much so that he/she asked to be released from his/her contract. But, according to the site, a funny thing happened between the time the request was made and when it was potentially granted - a change of heart.
Now this member of the ensemble wants to stay. But it may be too late. TVLine's sources don’t know for sure at this point whether the character is going to be written off although one insider insists he/she ultimately got their wish.
So who do you think it was/is? The general consensus is that it’s either Jeffrey DeMunn (Dale) or Laurie Holden (Andrea) since both of them have worked extensively with Darabont. Our guess is Dale, which is why they have Andrea teaming up with Shane. Hope that's not the case though. We need the Tainted Meat scene!
In this latest season of AMC's "The Walking Dead" TV series, the survivors arrive at Hershel's Farm, where we meet Hershel Greene (Scott Wilson); his daughter, Maggie (Lauren Cohan); and middle-aged ranch foreman Otis (Pruitt Taylor Vince). The new cast members join series regulars Andrew Lincoln as Rick Grimes, Sarah Wayne Callies as Lori Grimes, Jon Bernthal as Shane Walsh, Laurie Holden as Andrea, Jeffrey DeMunn as Dale, Steven Yeun as Glenn, and Chandler Riggs as Carl Grimes.
